Overview: The little mouse does whatever he can to save his strawberry from the big bear. Read to see how imaginative the mouse can be to disguise his strawberry.
Activity: Read Aloud to class. Have students draw a large strawberry, and on a separate handout, have pictures of different disguises for the children to cut out. Have students choose, cut out, and paste a disguise on their strawberry. Then describe their disguised strawberry and who they would hide it from.
