Overview: The lion is the king of his jungle and he takes all of the animals for granted. But when a sly circus man comes through and convinces the lion he can make him a star, the lion gives in and leaves the jungle for the city. The lion is tricked into becoming the sidekick to the circus man’s act. Once the lion realizes how the animals in his jungle must have felt, he leaves to go back home. But when he gets back he has some slick moves to pull of his own.
Activity: Have the students draw their favorite event at the circus. Then hang the pictures up around the room.
