Overview: Fictional story about a grouchy ladybug who comes across a leaf full of aphids that he wants to eat. When a friendly ladybug comes across the same leaf the grouchy ladybug tries to start a fight with him. When the friendly ladybug accepts the challenge, the grouchy ladybug gets scared and decides to move on and try picking on bigger animals. Hopefully this grouchy ladybug will realize that trying to bully people is not the right thing to do.

Activity: Using construction paper, have the children cut out shapes and make their own grouchy ladybug.
