Overview: Ben ripped open his present to find Penguin inside. He was so excited to play with Penguin. Ben tickled Penguin, imitated Penguin, ignored Penguin, and even fired Penguin into outer space but for some reason Ben just couldn’t get Penguin to talk. What will it take for Ben to get Penguin to talk?

Activity: Have students draw a picture of their favorite animal. Then, have them write what they would do with the animal they drew if they got to spend one whole day with that animal. Let them share their drawing and adventure with the class if they would like.
