There are many encounters with exotic animals, building their intricate tree house, and with the father and sons. The author, Wyss, does a fine job of making the animals and adventures pop out of the page and grasp the reader’s attention. A faith-filled family trying to survive is a timeless classic adventure that is always a good book to keep on the shelf.
