Overview: One day, Teeny Weeny Bop finds a gold coin on her floor and decides to buy a pig with it. As she skips along, she sings, “To market, to market! To buy a fat pig! Home again, home again! Jiggetty Jig!” This starts the circle of Teeny Weeny Bop’s trips to see Mr. Pet Man to replace each pet that she gets. Each time, she changes the song she sings to fit the pet that she is going to get. The rhyming is very catchy and the story has a musical element.

Activity: Students can make up their own rhymes for pets that they would get if the were Teeny Weeny Bop. Have the students write the rhymes and then sing them out loud.
