Overview: This story is about a boy who tells about his two weird parents. He explains how embarrassed he gets with the weird things his parents do. But, towards the middle of the story, he starts to let on that his parents may be weird but they love him and take care of him. He tries to imagine what it would be like if his parents were normal or if all of the other parents were as weird as his. But in the end he realizes he loves his parents no matter what.

Activity: Have the students write about one thing they would not want their parents to change about themselves. Keep them somewhere and then show them to the parents on parent-teacher night.
