Overview: Dunkhim and his classmates were rewarded for reading 25 books by getting to spend the night at their teacher’s house, but things start to turn creepy after Miss Hershey reads them the poem, The Raven. Dunkhim tries to hide his fear from the other Cul-De-Sac Kids after he begins to hear strange noises. What will happen to Dunkhim and the other kids when some wild and crazy things start to happen throughout the night?!

Activity: Write about the scariest thing that has happened to you on a sleepover? If there are students who have never had a sleepover, then ask them what they would do if they were in Dunkhim’s shoes.
