Overview: This book is about a girl raccoon named Frances who wants to be a part of the boys and play baseball. When they do not allow her to do so (because she is a girl) she decides to start her own club for girls only with her little sister, Gloria. When the boys try to join their group Frances, denies them. Lets hope Gloria can convince her otherwise. The illustrations in this book are wonderful, very clear pictures with good coloring.

Activity: Have a co-ed baseball game mixing the teams up evenly with boys and girls.
