Overview: Noah builds an ark because a great flood is coming. Inside the arc he plans and to house lots of animals in order to save them from the flood. Watch as Noah and the animals on the arc wait out the flood. Spier manages to show a beautifully crafted, warm-hearted story about the traditional Noah’s Ark through illustrations.
Activity: Have children name their favorite animals that they want to put on the ark to save from the flood. Then, have them make drawings of each animal to put in our “ark”, which could be a toy boat.
