Overview: This novel is about relatives visiting from Virginia that aren’t used to the other relatives lifestyle. After becoming accustomed to their lifestyle, the visiting relatives had learned a good deal about each family member. This book has a lot to do with teamwork.

Activity: Have the children make up small groups. Each child will tell the others in their group about themselves. Make sure that the kids in each group aren’t accustomed with each other. Then have each tell something about a teammate in their group.
