Overview:
A great book for young readers because there are two separate stories. One consists of Tom (a young rabbit) who will not eat like a normal rabbit. All he wants is to eat hamburgers. He eventually plays a clever trick on his parents. The second story is about Tom trying to convince his mother to allow him to have pet. After countless NO’s he decides to play another trick on his mother. What a naughty little rabbit!!! This is a great read for beginning readers because of the energetic pictures and short sentences with big words.

Activity:
Each student draws a giant dinosaur on a big piece of paper which will later be placed on the walls of the classroom. While the students are drawing, cook some hamburgers for them.
