Overview: When Ruby is invited to have tea with the Queen, she has to brush up on her manners, which she has never been good at. It seems that wherever she goes, bad things seem to happen; dishes fall over, she trips, food gets thrown everywhere. This book is a colorful story of a girl who finds out the importance of manners and proper etiquette. But in the end, she finds out that she is loved for who she is. This book is good for children because it is full of excitement and teaches them that that no matter what, they will always be loved for who they are, good manners or not!

Activity: Pretend that you are the Queen of a country. Invite your friends and family to a tea party and show off your good manners like the ones the Ruby learned.
