Overview: After rabbit flies his toy airplane into the tree he goes through great measures to get it back. This story shows loyalty and friendship. The story is fun and the illustrations are great.
Activity: Place the students in groups of two. Give them a partner that they would not regularly work with. Make toy airplanes out of cardboard or thin wood and have them fly them outside. See which team’s airplane goes the farthest.
