Overview: The story starts with a young boy sitting at the dinner table wishing he did not have to eat his vegetables. He then starts to dream what it would be like if he had a robot around to do the things that he hates to do. He has the robot eating his vegetables, taking his baths, and taking care of the school bullies. But once his mom reminds him whoever eats their vegetables gets a piece of chocolate cake for dessert, he quickly forgets about the robot.

Activity: Have the students draw a picture of what their personal robot would look like and have them describe what activity they would use the robot for.
