Audience: Gr. 1+

Overview: Scuffy the little toy Tugboat starts off sailing down a stream. He soon finds himself sailing through town all the way into the harbor. In the harbor he sees other giant boats, much bigger than him. He tries to get their attention but the other boats are much too big to hear such a small vessel. He finally realizes this big ocean just isn’t for him and makes his way back to his owner and into a bathtub where he belongs.

Activity: Have children play the tugboat outside in a line flowing around the playground. Once recess is near an end, lead the children back into the classroom where they belong.
